A 'Short' Class

This is my submission for 's contest. I hope I got it in in time since today's the deadline >_>

Anywho, so Oliver, Anguis, Revi, Sylver, Olivia, Summer, Static, Tina, Monica and Lorraine are in for a lecture. Some are paying attention, others are . . . well, sleeping. I'm not sure if this is a university or a high school setting, but it seems slightly more college to me (which is fine, since most of the characters are old enough to be in university anyway. The school uniforms just throws it off a bit).

So what's everyone thinking/doing/saying? Let's find out!

Professor Generic Teacher Guy: . . . and that is how the brain regulates things such as breathing and blinking. Now, conscious thought is more complicated. Blah blah blah blah . . .

Oliver: *recording the lecture and reading some emo poems* well, this class is less than interesting, but I do find these uniforms quite stylish

Anguis: *taking careful notes* So this is what school is like with classmates, hmm? It's interesting and I must continue working hard!

Static: *snoozes* Ugh . . . . I TOTALLY shoulda just skipped with Manic. And this stupid uniform chafes like a bizzatch!

Summer:*stops taking notes to listen to Static talk about Manic*Wh-what? THAT's where Manic is?!

Tina: *bored* Man . . . I already know all this . . . *sigh*

Olivia: *gets out of her seat and goes over to Revi and Sylver* Hiiii! So umm, Monica asked me to pass you this note! Here you go!


Reverbarance: *playing with her music player under the desk and slowly taking the note from Olivia* Uh . . . thanks . . .

Monica: *slams her hands down on the desk* OLIVIA!!! What are you DOING?! You're gonna get us all sent to the office!!

Lorraine: *doodling while taking notes* Oh, calm down. You should've known better. Besides, your shouting is just as bad . . .

Sylver: *blink blink* How did our professor not notice any of this?

And no worries; everyone went and got a copy of Oliver's sound file, even Manic. However, Olivia is still blind to the subtle art of note-passing.
